Testing & Education Reference Center now available!

The Hermann Memorial Library presents a new electronic resource to help you plan and meet your educational and career goals, whatever they may be.  It’s the Testing & Education Reference Center from Gale/Cengage Learning.

Are you taking a college entrance or licensing exam? Looking for a college or graduate school? Need help finding scholarships? Use this database to search thousands of college and graduate school entries. Identify scholarships that meet your financial needs. Are you a nursing student preparing for your NCLEX PN or RN Exam? Take on-line practice tests and use test prep eBooks to obtain your education goals.

Testing & Education Reference Center is a start-to-finish resource with all the information and support materials needed to make informed, confident decisions to shape the rest of your life.

Access to this database is limited to our students, faculty, and staff, as well as on site visitors to the library. You will be asked for your campus computer network id and password to use this database from off campus.

The access points to this database are found on our library web pages. Starting at the main library page, click on “Find Resources” in the right hand column; then under “Subject Resources” you can find the link in “Careers and Jobs”, “Colleges and Financial Aid”, and “Nursing”.  Or, you can follow the link from “Search for Articles” in the right hand menu column on the main library page to “Article Databases by Subject” then finally to the ”Education—Article Databases” page.
